What is Sweet Nothings Xylitol made up of / from?

Sweet Nothings Xylitol is pure Xylitol, so the ingredients that you find in each spoon is only Xylitol. There are no additives, just pure Xylitol. Sweet Nothings Xylitol is of a natural origin. Our Xylitol is extracted from the corn/ mielie cob.

Why Sweet Nothings Xylitol and not Sugar?

Sweet Nothings Xylitol contains 40% less calories than sugar. It helps with weight control, promotes dental health and stabilises blood sugar.

How do you make sure Sweet Nothings Xylitol is of the Highest Quality?

The manufacturer of our Xylitol meets stringent international quality standards, such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and USFDA (United States Food and Drug Administration). Our manufacturing and packing facility also meets international quality standards. Product samples are regularly tested at an independent SANAS accredited laboratory to check that the product meets the required standards.

What is the carbohydrate content of Xylitol?

Whilst Sweet Nothings Xylitol is a carbohydrate not all carbohydrates are the same. Sweet Nothings Xylitol has a very low Glycemic index (7) and is therefore absorbed slowly into the intestine, while sugar has a Glycemic index of 60-70. The sugar content of Sweet Nothings Xylitol is zero.
